What Four Decades in Arizona Real Estate Has Taught Me
The Metro Phoenix housing market has changed dramatically over the past four decades.
Since beginning my real estate career in 1983, I've worked in several areas of the industry, including banking, residential appraisals, and residential sales. Those experiences have given me a well-rounded understanding of how homes are valued, financed, and marketed.
Here are a few lessons I've learned over the years:

Every Market Is Different
Markets rise, level off, and adjust. Making decisions based on headlines alone rarely tells the full story. Understanding local conditions is what matters most.
Relationships Matter
Many of my clients come from referrals, which is something I truly appreciate. Building trust and maintaining strong relationships has always been more important than simply closing a sale.
Every Home Has a Story
No two transactions are exactly alike. Every buyer and seller has unique goals, timelines, and challenges. Taking the time to understand those needs helps create a better experience for everyone involved.
Experience Brings Perspective
Having worked in multiple areas of real estate allows me to anticipate potential issues before they become problems. Whether it's understanding appraisals, financing, or negotiations, experience helps keep transactions moving forward.
After more than 25 years as a residential sales agent, I still enjoy helping people navigate one of the most important decisions they'll ever make.
